To live our lives in a negative way
Do unto others as you want to be done
Find peace and love have only just begun
Gettin’ your kicks slingin’ shit at me
Only reflects your insecurities
Don’t be surprised if it comes back around
Find yourself at home all alone with a frown
Years go by time goes by say goodbye to those you love
Older we get tend to forget all the simple shit that we learned in school
Struggle and strive to find in this life not worried who was playing the fool
Farther you’ll go reap what you sow when you follow the golden rule
Let you be you and let me be me
We can live in this world in perfect harmony
Say some things are better left unsaid
You see what you need to believe the tree beneath the wind blow
Takin’ time to see the sunshine define within your heart’s glow
